Sales Development Representative

In support of our continued growth, SecApps is looking for driven and ambitious sales reps to join our team. This is a remote position. You will work on greenfield areas to establish relationships with new customers to uncover high-value opportunities.


  • Identifying key decision makers whilst developing and qualifying new business opportunities within the targeted markets through cold calling, event recruitment and high-level prospecting
  • Articulating the value proposition and helping the customer understand how it will improve their business’s information security
  • Work closely with Marketing by methodically working on and following up on a variety of sales campaigns
  • Successfully overcome prospective customer objections as well as answer initial questions
  • Consistently achieving quarterly and annual KPIs
  • Create and deliver technical enablement content
  • Discover and promote new use case scenarios with partners’ existing product catalog and vet ecosystem partners for SecApps product alignment
  • Be a key source of market feedback for the Product team
  • Earning trust and developing relationships with senior executives by displaying knowledge, professionalism and relevance to business issues
  • Contribute to our knowledge base including researching competitors, drafting knowledge base articles, helping create services agreements and more


  • 3+ years of direct sales experience selling enterprise software to mid-size/ large enterprises in fast-growing, changing, and competitive environments
  • Consistent track record of new business development and over achieving sales targets with prospects and customers in the defined territory
  • Experience working with major cloud service providers (e.g AWS)
  • Experience delivering compelling product demos to customers / partners
  • Analytical skills and the ability to craft actionable insights from complex data
  • Experience in the security and/or DevSecOps space preferred by not required
  • Great communications and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisation and time management skills and ability to work independently
