Full Stack Software Engineer

SecApps is looking for a driven full-stack developer to join our growing team. As an engineer at SecApps, you’ll be working closely with our Engineering,Product and Design teams to develop our ever-growing library of security tools and solutions. This is a full-time, remote opportunity for a talented individual who enjoys working in a close-knit, collaborative startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members in designing and building highly-scalable backend services and applications
  • Developing modern, highly responsive web-based user interface components using React concepts
  • Develop effective, scalable API models for Customer Data Sources and external APIs
  • Own responsibility for running applications using CI/CD practices such as automated builds, deployments and tests
  • Communicate with Product Owners to gather accurate specifications for new enhancements and applications
  • Review and provide any required input needed for setting priorities, scheduling releases
  • Documenting application changes and developing updates

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of development/architecture
  • Experience with scripting (Bash, Javascript, Ruby, Python, Go) for the purpose of automating security related tasks
  • Deep understanding of API standards (REST, GraphQL)
  • Experience with React.js / Next.js
  • Familiarity with designing and securing cloud environments; preferably in AWS
  • Proficient with database design, queries and data analysis
  • Experience working in Agile teams
