/vulndb/Default Login

A default login is a kind of login, which is the same for every instance of the application. It’s typically used to grant a first time access to hardware bundled control panels and administration interfaces.

An attacker who knows the default login is capable of logging in every instance of the same application where the very same default login is still active.

Disable or change the default login details.

Default login is a common scenario in domestic routers’ control panels.
